Hello, I'm Melanie, the founder of Make Them Gelly.
I've been drawn to design for as long as I can remember. At school it was graphics and art where I came alive, but I had no idea what to do with that. Nobody sits a teenager down and tells her she can build a life out of the way she sees colour.
I found the answer during my time in the beauty therapy industry. The moment I started doing gel nails for clients, everything clicked: the art, the precision, the tiny canvas. What I loved most wasn't the manicure itself. It was watching my clients look down at their hands and sit up a little straighter. It was them taking the time for selfcare, and the shift in their confidence as they walked out beaming over their fresh manicure.
I eventually stepped away from the beauty industry. My hunt for the perfect manicure never stopped.
I've tried every nail product on the market. The polishes that chip by Tuesday. The kits that promise salon results and deliver a sticky mess. The wraps that lift at the edges within a day. I kept coming back to one thing: semi-cured UV gel nail stickers. Real salon quality, done at your own kitchen table, in about 20 minutes and at a convenient time that fits into your schedule.

So that's the gap I'm filling. Make Them Gelly are my own designs, brought to life in semi-cured UV gel, for women who are far too busy for the salon but refuse to give up beautiful healthy nails.
